The Carnival starts around $37,900, roughly $4,900 below the Odyssey’s approximately $42,795 starting price. At ALM Kia Perry, a new Carnival adds ALM VIP Club benefits and our Included Lifetime Warranty on qualifying new vehicles.
Both offer a strong V6, the Carnival at 287 horsepower and the Odyssey at 280. The difference is the Carnival’s new hybrid, which returns about 33 mpg combined. The Odyssey has no hybrid, so if efficiency matters the Carnival has an option the Odyssey cannot match.
